Each Painted Ceramic is Dipped into a Glaze That Appears to be Blue in Color! We Then Strategically Place All the Pieces We Can Fit Into Our Big Oven We Call Our Kiln, Close the Lid and Turn it on! The Kiln Rises in Temperature Very Slowly, 8.5 hours Until it Reaches Temperature Just Before 2000 Degrees Fahrenheit! We Call This… The Firing Process. The Cooling Process Takes About Twice the Amount of Time! When the Kiln is Cool it is Unloaded. The Pieces Inside are Incredibly Shiny! The Blue Glaze has changed into a Glass Layer and the Colors are Vibrant!
We Fire Our Kiln Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday Rain or Shine :-)
